POLAR EXPRESS LOVE
We went on the Heber Creeper and they do the "Polar Express" for a limited time. It's one of those experiences that make you appreciate the memories you have as a child and want to be one again! But, since you you can't ever go back, the greatest best thing truly is, seeing your sweet children experience those joys for the 1st time. It may be even sweeter than the 1st go around yourself! Simon was absolutely ecstatic the whole time! He LOVES trains and couldn't wait to meet the conductor, and then meeting Santa was just icing on the cake! Seriously, I wish I could videotape him all the time, because for a little 2 year-old he is got a mature spirit and personality that shocks us all the time! And sweet little Piers is an incredible joy who smiles his days away & the 2 brothers absolutely adore each other! How lucky can one girl be?!

I feel SO old...
I went and saw that stupid TWILIGHT movie. YEP, I did want to kiss Jacob. And then, quickly realized I am NOT the underaged
anymore. When did this happen?!? SERIOUSLY, I am OLD!
But, at least I have a LOT to show for it!

and well, we fell asleep holding hands under the table.

WHERE IS MY MIND?!
I completely forgot my sign in and password and that is the reason I have not posted anything about my wonderful and adorAble new son, Piers Michael!!!! He was born on jUNE 25, 2009....i know, 4 months later.... but he is an absolute JOY in our home! Simon just loves the heck out of him and is the best big brother! They are both growing in ways that delight my soul and I am SOOOOOO lucky and grateful to have 3 of the greatest guys under one roof! I have to run now, but I thought I would just see if I could log on. I promise the next time I jump on, I will post pictures!

Peek-a-boo!
Okay, so I am slightly disconnected from my accomplishment wires... and as you can see, I don't quite keep up on things. I know my girlfriends who have been harping me to update will be upset that I am not posting pictures on this post, but I will soon
& it will be an overload! :) As for the current happenings, I will have to fill you in with a bunch of boring words (words are really not boring though, just mine!) So, we are going to welcome another wonderful little boy into our lives in 17 days. Unless he decides to come sooner, which he has "threatened" to come before his baking time is done, twice now! Last week, I was sent into Labor & Delivery for bleeding, and this morning at about 2 am, I woke up at 2 with contractions 3-4 minutes apart & visited Labor & Delivery again! I am really hoping that this will not become a weekly thing, and that this is not an indication of a "tricky" sense of humor that this little guy has! Fortunately, all is seemingly well, and he will be able to cook for a bit longer! My other little guy, Simon, is an absolute dream! I have felt like death with this pregnancy and feel so guilty to not be able to give him the crazy energy I once had...yet, he is growing in vocabulary, energy and intelligence like I cannot believe! He's been my little helper, and he is SO excited to have a baby and he gravitates to babies and wants to hold and kiss them! He kisses and rubs my tummy all the time and everyday, we count down the days together. I truly wish I could videotape him 24-7, and I could tell you all the cute and funny things this kid with a huge personality does everyday, but it is impossible! But, some of the things we have to take up time that he and I love are: swimming lessons and a membership to the Hogle Zoo. He just finished another semester at Little Gym but we aren't doing a summer semester because there are way too many fun things going on in the summer time! He loves the dinosaur museum, and he loves to help mommy at the grocery store. Whenever we go to the zoo, we go to our favorite grocery store in Salt Lake, Dan's, and they have the cute little Simon sized cart, and he walks in there and grabs a cart and groceries like it's something he's been doing for years! The employees get the biggest kick out of him every time, and they love to see him! We just put his big boy bed in his room ( although he hasn't switched yet), and he absolutely LOVES it! It's a full-size, and he jumps in and out like it's nothing! Anyway...I would love to continue for days, but my mind and nose are being pulled away by a delicious salmon dinner that is ready. So! Best wishes to you all, and stay tuned for pictures!

1-Where were you when you first found out you were pregnant? My bathroom
2-Who was with you? Oreo
3- How did you find out that you were pregnant? I was always thinking I was prego, but never was...and finally when I was prego and I had vertigo & aversions to the foods I love...I still didn't think I was. Then my girlfriend persisted that I go take a pregnancy test...and TA-DA!
4- What was your first reaction to finding out you were pregnant? There was NO way something that wonderful could happen to me! So,I didn't believe it.
5- Who was the first person you told? Spencer
6-Did you plan to get pregnant? Not really, but there was this one time... and if it were to happen then it was supposed to!
7- Did you tell everyone else right away? I still didn't believe it so I wanted to wait until I was at least 3 months, but I always tell Mike & Talei everything!
8-Was everybody happy for you? My family was ELATED!!! We love kids more than anything! There is nothing closer to God!
9- Did you go out and celebrate? I celebrated everyday!!!
10- Did you want to find out the sex? OH MY YES!!! I am too impatient!
11- What was the sex? A boy..I found out only at 13 weeks and there was NO mistaking that it was a boy!
12-Did anyone throw you a baby shower? I got SO spoiled...everyone threw me a shower, I am still using bubble bath and lotions that I got & that was almost 2 years ago!
13- If yes, who? My mom, my mother-in-law, & 3 different groups of friends.
14- Did you get any outfits at the baby shower that you just knew you weren't going to put on your baby? Yes...but when you go through a million pj's at home, you end up using them all!
15- How much weight did you gain? I have no idea! I was just grateful the baby was gaining weight!
16- Did you lose all of the weight that you gained? Yes, the next week...and I honestly did nothing but sit on my butt & eat Ben & Jerry's cookie dough ice cream & watch Simon sleep all day and watched corny shows that wouldn't be bad for Simon's precious ears.
17- Did you get a lot of stretch marks? None until the last couple days...but they were super light and small, so no fret!
18- What did you crave the most? RED MEAT!
19- Did you crave anything crazy? Yes cereal...I HATE cereal, but I was obsessed w/ it!! And I hated ice cream...that was crazy! I loved it again as soon as he was out!
20- Who or what got on your nerves the most? My husband! xoxo ( ME TOO KINZ!)

22- Did you have any complications during your pregnancy? Nothing until the labor.

29- Did you have any drugs for the pain? Yes, but as soon as it hit me completely I freaked out & had them take it off! I am SOOOO claustraphobic & I hated being paralyzed, it made me have an anxiety attack1
30-Did you go Natural or have a c-section? Emergency c-section
31- What was your first reaction after giving birth? There is absolutely no sweeter sound then your child's 1st cry...I was so emotional from the scare of his dramatic heart rate drop, and when I heard that sweet noise, I was SO overwhelmed with gratitude and I wanted nothing more than to hold and kiss him.
32- How big was the baby(s)? 7 lbs. 6 oz.
33- Did your Husband cry? No
34- What did you name the baby(s)? Simon
35- Does her name have any significant meaning? Simon was my mom's amazing brother's name, and his middle name is his daddy's 1st name.

37- Did the baby(s) have any complications? Yes, he had been trying to come for 3 days straight, but my body would NOT dilate no matter what the hospital did. His heart rate dropped to almost nothing and it was GO time!
38- How old is your baby today? 17 mths! It goes way too fast!
39- When is the next one(s) coming? On June 25th a day before my birthday- best gift EVER!!!
